When the UK Government instructed salons to close their doors, due to COVID-19, we imagined there'd be plenty of ways our team could keep in touch with customers and still be able to offer help and guidance with hair and beauty concerns. Immediately our collective brains kicked into gear and we came up with all sorts of great ideas like demonstrating manual facial routines, root touch-up videos, etc, making use of Zoom and social media. We even planned to deliver tailored colour and treatments packages right to your door!
Little did we realise then, that taking advantage of the Government's furlough scheme would preclude our team from representing the salon in any way at all - salon social media or otherwise.
As a director I am the only person not furloughed and still active on the salon's behalf - therefore if I can be of any help at all please do contact me at email@example.com.
The salon's online store is still open too, offering free Royal Mail delivery within the UK and I'm even offering free doorstep deliveries within Washington (NE37 & NE38) on purchases over £25! Same day delivery if you order before midday!!

Choosing the best channel for communicating with our customers gets ever more complex with so many social-media platforms to choose from. Blogging, it seems, has stood the test of time and is relatively easy to share on several other channels so - although we're a little bit late to the pool party - we're finally dipping our pedicured-toes in the water and hoping for a lovely, warm reception!
